Sources and method

Every answer keeps its evidence label

Official facts, community tactics and dated snapshots serve different purposes. The site exposes those differences instead of blending them into a false certainty.

Evidence ladder

How a claim earns trust

A page can still be useful when the answer is uncertain. The uncertainty must remain visible and actionable.

Official source

Official mechanics and status

Steam store data, developer devlogs and patch notes control release date, price, platform, languages, repair examples, moodlets, map scope and known issues.

Community-tested

Observed tactics

A full creator walkthrough or repeatable player report can support route and timing advice. It cannot silently redefine an official mechanic or guarantee a spawn.

Dated snapshot

Changing numbers

Review counts, player counts, video views and search results always carry a check date. A snapshot is evidence of that moment, not a permanent traffic claim.

Not verified

Rumours and generated fixes

An uncorroborated video title, search snippet or single forum post can open a research question. It does not become player advice until the risk and evidence level are understood.

Collection coverage

The first release checked the Steam store API, public Steam review API, Steam news feed, active Steam discussions, developer site and press kit, public Reddit search results, YouTube search metadata and creator transcripts, search-result competition, and the user's Google Trends export.

The dedicated YouTube and Reddit source APIs were not healthy during this collection window: YouTube returned a rate limit and Reddit returned an authorisation error. Public search, Steam surfaces, Firecrawl and direct YouTube metadata were used as fallbacks. This is why the site describes community coverage as observed rather than exhaustive.

What was deliberately excluded

  • Exact item spawn guarantees inferred from one or two runs.
  • Driver, registry, firewall or VPN “fixes” without developer support.
  • Console release dates inferred from high search demand.
  • Copied articles from competing Funnel Runners sites.
  • Rehosted thumbnails or screenshots from independent creators.
  • Claims that the site is official, endorsed or a replacement for the Steam page.

Media policy

Game images on this site come from the developer's public press kit and are used with source attribution for independent editorial guidance. Creator videos remain embedded from YouTube through the privacy-enhanced player. The site does not download and republish creator thumbnails as its own asset library.

Press-kit availability is a strong indication that the developer expects editorial use; it is not the same as public-domain status. Supernova Studios retains ownership of the game art and marks.

Update rule

A new official patch can change a mechanic, workaround or issue state. Patch-sensitive pages therefore display the checked build. Community tactics are re-evaluated when an official change affects the underlying mechanic.
